To sign "Influence" in American Sign Language (ASL), form your non-dominant hand into an open fist handshape, with the palm facing down. Place the fingertips of your dominant hand in an "O" handshape at the back of your non-dominant hand. Move your dominant hand forward while changing it to a "5" handshape (fingers spread out), illustrating the flow of influence from one point to another.
