To sign "Flat" in American Sign Language (ASL), follow these steps:

1. Use a flat "B" handshape (fingers extended and together, thumb extended alongside the fingers).
2. Hold your hand in front of your body at chest level.
3. Move your flat hand horizontally, palm facing down, to indicate a flat surface.
