To sign "Commute" in American Sign Language (ASL), bring up your dominant 'A' handshape with the thumb pointed upward, place it above an open palm of the non-dominant hand, and then swipe the dominant 'A' handshape back and forth a few times across the top of the non-dominant open palm.
To sign "Commute" in American Sign Language (ASL), form a fist with your thumb pointing upward. Move the fist forward and backward several times while keeping the other hand flat and facing downward underneath it.
